The Latin Poems of Margareta van Godewijck (1627-1677)

چکیده
This contribution presents the editio princeps of all extant Latin poems written by Dutch poet Margareta van Godewijck from Dordrecht. In order to increase accessibility these hitherto unpublished texts, edition is preceded an extensive preparatory analysis previous biographical sources and accounts how her were received. These will illustrate need for present study. There follow evaluation with regard both form content a discussion Latinity, textual interaction other Neo-Latin poets, literary merits work. It argued that poetry had clear social performative function can best be considered within context student composition.
